    Clackamas Community College is offering the summer program in France.

    ANY college student can take part in this opportunity. Students with no French proficiency can sign up and they will be placed into a French class for complete beginners at the French institute in France.

    They have two informational sessions on Friday January 12th at 3:00 pm and Wednesday January 17th at 1:30 pm on Zoom for more details.

    Join us at the Portland edition of the 7th U.S. tour of the prestigious Champs-Élysées Film Festival. It features short-, medium-, and feature-length independent films from France, many of which are making their U.S. début in Portland. Artistic director Justine Lévêque will be in attendance from Paris and will hold a Q & A session after each screening. All films are subtitled. Screenings are free and open to the public.

    SPANISH INSTRUCTOR 

    Linfield University is currently searching for a part-time Spanish instructor for the Spring 2023 semester to teach two face-to-face classes (GLSP102.02 Elementary Spanish Mon/Wed/Fri 1:15-2:20 and GLSP201.01 Elementary Spanish Mon/Wed/Fri. 2:30-3:35 with the possibility of returning next year. Candidates should hold a master's degree in Spanish or second language acquisition with emphasis in Spanish and demonstrate at least two years of experience teaching Spanish language at the college level. Familiarity with digital learning platforms (Pearson, Vista, Cengage, etc.) and learning management systems (Blackboard, Canvas, Google Classroom, My Spanish Lab), desired. 

     

    Interested applicants should submit immediately a letter of interest outlining qualifications along with a CV, and two forms of evidence of teaching effectiveness such as letters of recommendations, class observations, student evaluations, etc. Applications will be reviewed immediately.
