Part-time French Instructor (Linfield University)

FRENCH INSTRUCTOR: Linfield University is currently searching for a part-time FRENCH instructor for the spring 2022 semester to teach two courses: one (1) first year course and one (1) intermediate course. Courses will be taught in person. There is the possibility of returning in the fall semester of 2022. Candidates should hold a Master's degree in French or Francophone studies or second language acquisition with emphasis in French and demonstrate at least 2-year experience teaching French language at the college level. Strong preference for candidates proficient with technology in the classroom, able to adapt to hybrid, online, or face-to-face instruction. Familiarity with digital learning platforms (Pearson, Vista, Cengage, etc.) and learning management systems (Blackboard, Canvas, Google Classroom, etc.), desired.

Interested applicants should submit by October 30th a letter of interest outlining qualifications along with a CV, one (1) letter of recommendation and recent student evaluations from two (2) courses or teaching observations. Applications will be reviewed immediately. The Spring semester starts on February 7th, 2022.
