Learning a language is no longer just about preparing for college, but about preparing all students to live in a globalized world. Thus, every student has a right to study languages and teachers need to meet their diverse needs. We typically add differentiation strategies after a lesson has been developed. This is time-consuming and disrespectful of the diversity of our students.

In this webinar, participants will learn to differentiate through backwards design by individualizing proficiency targets within a common theme, empowering students to self-direct how they show their learning, and designing a variety of learning activities.  To learn more and register for this free online event, visit:
